Our Mission

At King’s Hiway Baptist Church, we strive to point others to Jesus Christ.

• First, to know Him as their own personal Savior.
• Second, to grow in fellowship (1 John 1:3-4) with Him and to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Him (2 Peter 3:18).

We do this through a church family that loves, prays, and cares for one another, through frequent fellowship times for all ages, and through the consistent and intense preaching and teaching of the Word of God. Everything we believe and everything we do is to point to and to draw us and others closer to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are striving to reach the lost, teach disciples, and preach the Word.

Our Church

King’s Hiway Baptist Church is a Fundamental Independent Baptist Church.

Fundamental: not the radical, hateful brand of Christianity that is so often associated with this title, but holding to the fundamental teachings of the Word of God; using the Bible as our sole guide for faith and practice, and relying on the Holy Spirit to guide us in the truth of the Word.

Independent: having no committee, convention, hierarchy, or overseeing counsel or body ruling over the church. We believe we should and do answer to the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is His church. The pastor IS NOT a dictator or a solitary leader. He constantly and consistently seeks counsel from other Godly pastors and evangelists, and from the Godly men of the church.

Baptist: holding to the Baptist Distinctives, because we believe the Baptist faith is firmly grounded in the Word of God, and holds to and agrees with the doctrine and teaching of the Bible. If and when “Baptist” does not agree with the Bible, this church will hold to the Bible and reject any and all false teaching of men. 

King’s Hiway Baptist Church believes church and worship should be timeless, not trendy. We believe our worship should be from the heart, and not borne out of an emotional high.

Whoever you are and however you come to church, at King’s Hiway Baptist Church you’ll be welcomed and loved.

KHBC emphasizes outreach, fellowship, discipleship, good Godly singing, and solid, expository, passionate, Biblical teaching and preaching. We believe the Scriptures teach that we are to plant and water the seeds, and God gives the increase.

We use only the King James Bible, and we sing the great old hymns of the faith. Most would ‘label’ our services as “traditional.” We believe “timeless” is a better description.

KHBC was organized in 1972.
